I answered over and over again the same question.
Why don't you search the forum/trackers before post your question?

a very complex fix.

How about this one : DIY

Hi,

mShell (http://www.m-shell.net) is a Symbian mobile devices programming
language.
It has about 40.000 REGISTERED users, as stated in 10th post of this thread:
http://www.m-shell.net/Forum/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=137

ATM no editor supports syntax, auto-completion etc. for it. It could ne nice
if NPP will be the first (maybe the only). I'm not very skilled in such things,
but I will very happy to collaborate if someone will give me instruction to
do that all together.

@ Jens: I've sent an email to you containing similar request before to find
this forum. Sorry for that.

AlbatroS

You can also add direction switching to the right-click context menu. See the
bottom of the Edit menu as well as

No need to cry.
I am not following the forum since the beginning and I saw the question many
times. never answered by you and I also never saw a post redirected to something
from you. I will see what I can find ;)

> How about this one : DIY

It?s easy to complain but it?s also easy to throw a sentence like this ;).
There weren?t really complains by me. You have a very nice program which is
very stable. You also look that no plugins have any known bug. But you did
nothing
to at least warn the user that it won?t work what he is trying to do. Thats
what I don?t got and wanted to ask. Don?t feel attackted.
Yes maybe I could do it myselv. But everyone has his own projects and this isn?t
a short addition someone could write a class/module for. Thats something you
have to know where the targets are and have to change many things. If you feel
fine with it and have other priorities then it?s ok, write a sticked FAQ or
known issues post and someone like me won?t write again (yes I know there are
individuals availible which are stupider then me :-D)

Haha I laughed out loud *ironic*. There is a big different between a funny or
good ironic post and something which is only lame...
Everyone understand what I mean. You can be sure on this.

Many people are so (too) sensitive on any critic of open source software. I
have respect of anyone who uses his time to develope software which is helping
others.

What a great and usefull plugin. Thumbs up

Any improvements, yet?

I would like to see this plugin in the plugins section, that more people will
find it.

Cheers

All the files are under 112KB. When I open the files in Notepad or another
IDE (CodeWarrior) and save them, reopening still crashes NP++.

Here's another work-around that's working for me:

1) I first open the files in CodeWarrior (or Notepad, whatever)
2) copy select all the text
3) paste into a new file in NP++ and save
4) NP++ can now open those files again fine

It's just ironic that old Notepad can open these files but NP++ can't. Oh well.

Did you try Save as... in Notepad using another encoding format?

I found the problem. These files were located in a network folder. If I copied
them locally, they would all open in NP++ just fine. Copy them right back to
that network folder and again they would crash NP++.

So I created another folder on the network in the same root. Then I merely
copied the files from the first corrupted(?) folder to the second new folder.
Voila, they all open fine now. So strange! I compared the two folder
properties
and can?t find any differences (both having read access and user write access).
This is on a Windows XP SP2 client and a MS Exchange XP file server.

I have no idea why that original folder was slightly corrupted that NP++ could
read its files while other apps could. Is NP++ sensitive to folder/file
permissions?

Was it the folder _name_, probably in Unicode, which might cause any problems?

Notepad++ Portable stands at v4.2.2. "Regular" Notepad++ is now at v4.6. Is
there going to be an update to the portable version?

Hi! I tried the versions of both of you, helpful compwizards, but I still don't
see what I want. First, I edited my registry as the other thread shows (except
the last part, where the "a", "b", "c" things come in because I have different
programs and different preferences). I think I've made a mistake when I ran
REGEDIT but I'm awfully angry because of what Notepad++ has done to my icons.
They're still shown as unknown while the extension (".txt") is also shown since
my registry edit. What the hell can I do by myself?
