Hi, I am a novice in all respects, so I apologize if the answer to this is
really
obvious.
I am just starting to use Notepad++ to edit LaTeX documents (on Windows XP).
For the most part, this is fine, but I am wondering if there is a way to make
subsequent levels indented in the display, so that it is easier to see where
a chapter, section or subsection starts. Or failing that, can I edit the way
TeX behaves so that each level has a different color?

Close some of the larger files and temporarily disable the plugins, especially
the function list. Functionlist has to parse the entire file to search for
functions
which can take some time when you have large sourcefiles open. Atleast, thats
what it looks like on my installation

Harry,
I have 4 words to you :

I wanted this feature badly, but I have no time yet to implement it.
The html export works perfectly.
There's only a little problem for rtf : all the '{' and '}' are not printed,
but I think it's easy to fix.
May I do one suggestion? If you can copy the content from Scintilla to clipboard
as format rtf, it'll allow user paste the styled content into word.

The rtf { and } is something I completely forgot about, the documentation says
so very explicitly to escape those characters :').
I was wanting to do the clipboard thing to make it more accessible, but I've
only been working for 2 days on the plugin so it isn't very mature yet.
Yet another incentive to add those little context menu additions that have been
mentioned.

I found a bug. You should export the content of the actual buffer. Try
following:
- Open some files and move one of the buffer to the other view
- Activate the file in the other view
- Export
- You see, wrong buffer was exported but with the correct file name

Hello,
I can't seem to figure out how to escape \t in the replace dialog. I'm working
on a latex file and needed to replace a string with "\times" but that inserts
"<tab>imes" and "\\times" inserts "\<tab>imes". So, how does one escape
slash-chars?
