At this time thise items are embedded into the application, so cannot be
translated
via the "nativeLang.xml" file. :)
Maybe in the future developers will put them customizable like the others string
of the program, but not sure that can be done, since it's stil not be...

I did a search in all opened documents for "+ +".
The results show me 4 lines which indeed do contain the searched string.

However, also single + characters are marked yellow.
Is this correct, intended behavior? I would not expect this.

You could copy your search string to the clipboard and then choose:

* menu TextFX
* submenu TextFX Viz
* option Hide Lines without (Clipboard) text

There are a lot more options there that may help you achieve your goal.

I am not sure if there is some way to directly hide or show only lines that
are (book)marked.

Don,

Yes, this works. But anyway, what is the rationale behind changing the the
behaviour? I do not think that storing the data files in the notepad's++ folder
might have any sense. What is the situation where this new feature will make
life easier?

Regards,

V, 13:05 Sunny Time Again :-)

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I've already tried that, and it doesn't seem to work in TeX. Is there something
else I should try? I'm just using bookmarks for navigation for now, but what
I would really like to do is have it look something like the outline view in
MS Word (about the only useful feature there, really).

Thanks for your help.

Here's something that would be useful but simple to implement:

* When you have lots of files open, there's the left/right arrows to move
forward/backward from one window the next. An idea would be that if you hold
down shift (or Ctrl) and click an arrow it goes to the first/last window rather
than previous/next.

* Rows of tabs as well as columns (couldn't spot this feature)

Many thanks!

d

It looks as though only separate matching words are highlighted/marked in the
search results...

I looked for two words "firstword secondword".
These are the results, capitals are used to show highlighting:

[File1]
1 FIRSTWORD SECONDWORD some other text
2 FIRSTWORD SECONDWORD some more text
[File2]
here is some text with quotes 'firstword SECONDWORD yetanotherword'
[File3]
here, too, is some quoted text 'firstword SECONDWORD yetanotherword'

Spaces between words are not highlighted, but, in my opinion should be.
I am looking for an exact match of the search string, but the resulting
highlighting
does not (completely) show (all) real matches.

   Hi.

If you specify a file name on the command-line like:

   notepad++ aaa\bbb

and this file does not exist notepad++ asks you whether to create it.
However, if file 'aaa' already exists then this file creations will fail
and the whole notepad++ application will crash.

Detected under Windows XP SP2 with full updates. Notepad++ version
4.6. In my concrete

   Hope this helps.

   Best regards,
     Jurko Gospodneti?
