For one thing, you only get 1:1 copyies with FTP using _Binary_, not ASCII,
so switch that ;) (even worse if you transfer with UTF-## files).

Notepad will only break on CR/LF, so Mac CR only or Unix LF only doesnt give
any extra newlines. If the file erroneously has something like CRCRLF, Notepad
shows one newline whilst notepad++ probably shows 2 (CR then CRLF).

It helps to select View->End of Line from the menu, that way you can see what
newline characters are present and how they act in Notepad++.
You can select them too then and perform a find/replace on them, esp. with the
Ctrl-R find/replace

I believe this problem with an unzipped file has been reported before. I'm not
sure if it was also jZip that caused it, then.

Hi,

Is there a way to dock a list of open documents instead of just scrolling
through
the tabs?

I like Textpad's Document Selector and was wondering if there's a similiar
function
for notepad++

Me bad! Thanks for the prompt feedback. I've posted a new copy, and tested it
ok. Its file name contains the word 'repost'.

Have you tried Control+Tab? (Don't let go of the control key till you're ready.)
Also Alt+W+W.

> How do you modify the binary to save as txt?

I'm not sure, but I think it would be far easier to modify the source code to
your liking, then create your own custom binary to suit your specific needs.

I was really hoping to see this feature somewhere, but as of right now, I don't
see it. It would be a great help!
