Notepad++ supports Pascal as well as it supports any other programming language. I use it for writing in Delphi, which is Pascal-based. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. But i really love starting a "simple" text editor and do it all in the same place. An ugly window is one that is not so practical. Sure many applications use the same style of search. But to me those begin to look outdated and thus "ugly" (sorry if the term isn't that good). Besides the search begins to get more user friendly if it's integrated with the environment of the application (see desktop searches, firefox and vista search just to name a few). ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Better icon or interface can attract users to start use our editor. U spend time to fix bugs or develop new functions. but not everybody need it. Perhaps u cost a little time u can improve the most user experiences. Like the icon or default language color and styles. Not everybody will change the styles before he/she familiar with the editor. And he/she may drop the editor because of the fist ugly look. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. So for example, you could set F5 to be "Save to FTP". If you opened the file either locally or from FTP Synchronize, then F5 could simply write the current file to whatever the current FTP directory is. If the file already exists, a prompt should be provided to ask if you REALLY want to overwrite the existing file. I have PSPad setup this way and it works well. I don't know how easy it is to setup Notepad++ to do this, as I have not used it in a couple years and have just stopped by to see the state of affairs and give it another test drive. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I'd like to request something (hopefully not too difficult) for Notepad++. First request, XP style tabs. They look out of place at the moment. Is it possible to make it use the XP theme instead? Second request, stacking tabs. That's one thing I miss from Zend Studio, and something not found in many editors. I find it more practical to see all open documents at once, rather than having to scroll through one line of tabs. Please take these requests into consideration, and continue to improve this great, lightweight text editor. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. NPP 4.7.3 This time, I have a file of 10000+ lines, and the number margin only shows 4 digits. I have to un-tick and tick the "Display line number margin" before it shows the line numbers correctly (5 digits, in this particular example). I remember in CodeWright there was an option where the user could define how many digits he wanted to see in the line number margin. Would this be a good idea to add it to NPP too?
