What exactly is meant with XP style tabs, other than what is currently in NPP? Stacking tabs: I've asked this question too a while ago and I've tried it at home myself to make stackable tabs, but it was not really that successful (didn't spent too much time on it to...). However, there's a new DLL from Jens Lorens, called WindowManager (see the plug-in section for download). To me, that's a very good alternative for the stacked tabs, even if it would be for the time being. Would be nice anyhow to have stackable tabs, but maybe you can give the above mentioned DLL also a try and see how it feels/fits your needs? I'm anyhow enthusiast about it... Only "User Defined" and some empty lines are shown in the drop-down list for selecting a language. So if I want to change a definition, I have to edit the .ini manually. I would like the following features to be implemented: 1."Search in Files" tab should remember "directory" from last sessions. 2. Do not clear previous search results before running a new search, instead add popup menu item (on mouse right click) "clear search results". I usually search many files (looking for function definitions) in a few directories and I need to keep search results from all searches. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This is correct, because the focus is lost after double click on an item. It switches back to the document. I use notepad++ otherwise i wouldn't be here. I just asked for the best of two worlds. Besides i only bragged one single feature in the other editor which was that one.
