It deletes to the end of the line and records this action as a macro. Great! Can I then use this macro? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. But then again, looking at the user's request... Why record a macro for something that can be done right-away? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Column mode _is_ slow. Perhaps you can be satisfied by using the CTRL+R advanced Find/Replace dialog. There is an edit box there where you can enter the column numbers to work on. Whatever the empty column consists of, you can probably insert it by replace something like (.+) with [empty-column-characters-here-without-brackets]\1 with Reg. Expression checked. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. You CAN search for and add newline characters. Use the CTRL+R advanced Find/Replace dialog. You can enter newline characters here by pressing CTRL+M or CTRL+Enter and also tab characters by pressing CTRL+I. In regex mode it is possible to add tabs by (re)placing \t and I believe newlines will also work with \r\n. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
