I guess i was stupid to ask something like that in a foum called HELP.
Anyhow the other post at 2008-01-24 07:28 answer just says to use another
program...
and yes i could just use another program but it would be nicer to be able to
do all thing in 1 editor but maby that is unrealistic.
I know how to replace multiple lines in 1 file at a time...
and i know have to replace 1 line in multiple files at i time...
But i want to replace multible lines in multiple files in one go.

Do you appreciate people wanting to help?
Or do you reject people because their answers are not what you want or
expected?
You want something done.
You can do that, but not entirely in the way you would like.
Is that a reason to say you are not helped here?

I am having the same issue with large file opening. Not necessary to edit the
file, but to use find/replace and etc. that the notepad++ offers. As for me,
it will choke when I open the text file larger than 150 MB (maybe more). Hope
that this could be resolved.

Since this thread has been resurrected and the discussion seems to be going
strong, let me add my suggestion.
Once more, Simple Script comes to the rescue (Yes, I'm the author of the Simple
Script plugin, and yes, I'm making it sound more exciting than it really is).
It's a one-line script if you use the CutLinesWith or CutLinesWithout functions.
Keep in mind that it puts those lines on the clipboard, but if you don't care
about that, then it should work fine.
For example:
CutLinesWithout("ABC")
removes all lines that don't include the string ABC in them and puts them on
the clipboard.

I am not a moron and English is my native language. Therefore, it seems that
the simple instructions given here -
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/changeTheme-HOWTO.php are WRONG! How
do I change the icons on the tool bar?
I tried following the directions given above. I tried changing the icon size
in Settings|Preferences|Global|Tool bar. None of this has made the slightest
difference and I am frustrated that such a seemingly -simple- task has been
made SO difficult!

hello,
I have a file with mixed content (ascii header and binary data part).
problem:
when I modify the ascii header and save the file again, then also the binary
content is changed (when notepad encounters a 0x0A (\n) in the binary part,
then a 0x0D(\r) is inserted before automatically...)
how can I prevent notepad++ to automatically change the binary part when
changing
the ascii header ???

I would say yes. There seems no reason to believe why it wouldn't be.
Perhaps you could be a little more specific about what you're question really
is.
Perhaps you even will find some answers to it by searching the forum for
messages
containing the word Vista.

The last thing I need is, in a second of confusion, pressing ALT+F4 when I
really
wanted CTRL+F4. I must weigh in and say no to creating a default CTRL+F4. I
mean, if you want to do it yourself, have at it. But staying inline with the
CTRL+W standard combo (like FF) is a very good idea.
