since xsd uses xml format (syntax), could you please update notepad++ to open
xsd files with xml syntax highlighting by default?

I'll search for this eariler message but are you suggesting that I search for
each entry? If so that wouldn't be that more effictive than doing it by hand
if you have a large (say 2000+) and potientially every entry is possible to
be duplicated.

That would be my suggestion. It's clear, accurate, and precise to those to
whom it matters, and although some people might mistake the term "Free Software"
for "Freeware", those people are ones for whom the distinction doesn't matter,
namely people who just want a free text editor and don't care about making any
modifications to its source code.
