Hello,
I had an old version of npp, and just updated to 4.8, after a few tries I
discovered
the bug was because of the plugin "NppInsertPlugin.dll" not being compatible
with it.
But this plugin is really neat when you are editing html. Does someone know
of a new version of it or another that does the same? (until now i found the
xml tool, which does the same, but only for XML).

Hi,
I'm very appreciate your contribution of developing the very good software
Notepad++.
But your statement on Notepad++ homepage that says "China is the biggest prison
for journalists" is not appropriate. Indeed, anybody with clear mind knows that
every country controls the public media, no matter you know it or not. Please
don't do things let others believe you are politic idiot.

Umm... well that's sure a workaround... it is however an annoyingly wide
completion
rule. In a lengthy page nearly everything you type will come up with a
suggestion.
Now that I think of it, what I wanted is JUST LIKE word-completion only in that
it only tries to complete words starting with "$". I think it can't currently
be done...

With all the TextFX features I don't see 2 very common functions: double spacing
a single-spaced file and single spacing a double-spaced file.
In the early '80s I had a simple 1 line UNIX sed command to do both.
Mind you, I don't want to simply remove white lines when trying to go from a
double-spaced file to single spaced. This won't work...
Can Notepad++ and or TextFX plugins do this in some way?
If not, how about adding these 2?

Hi,
I've been using Notepad++ for about 3 months now and in my opinion it is A LOT
better than TextPad but I have one question. I heard that Notepad++ can
do indentation but when a create a PHP script in Notepad++ it simply doesn't
indent. The checkbox in settings is ticked.

Hi in there.
Thanks for Notepad++.
But I have a little problem, I have updated NPP from 4.7.2 to 4.8.2 and now
I feel like NPP lagging when you switching between tabs or setting focus to
NPP from another application ... is I'm only one with such problems?

What exactly do you mean?
If a line is already indented, and you press enter, the next line should get
an indentation, too, when the Auto-indent setting is checked. Unfortunately,
this also happens, when you press enter after an empty line, and the last line
above the empty space also had an indentation.
Are you looking for a "problem" mentioned before?
