This is very inportant since some other editors show different behavior for this. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The built in functionality doesn't have this problem. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. But I have problems marking the columns at the end of the lines. The last line I mark must be the longest or I can not mark all lines to the end. 2. Also when I try to "replace" "In selection" it does not just replace with in the selection. In general the "searce" and the "replace" "In selection" in the current version 4.7.5, does not seem to work. Any bright ideas?? Thank you Benny ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. You can, if you wish, change the EOL's of a file in one go: When the file is open, select "Format | Convert to Windows/Unix/Mac format", whatever you prefer. You can already see if a file has CRLF or CR only, when you open that "Format" menu. The EOL's used, are the ones for which the convert item is dimmed in that menu (unless the file has a mix of EOL's...). This is one of the major lacking things in NPP for me (and most probably for others too). It has been asked to introduce that feature for a long time already, but despite the upgrade of Scintilla from 1.73 to 1.75 with version 4.8 of NPP, it's still not there... I really hope this lacking feature will be introduced soon... Point 2: I didn't see those search & replace problems in selection in 4.7.5... While I type English chars. and nums. are printed. The versions before had no problems I don't know exactly when(which version) the problem started. Thanks in advance. As an alternative, you can use the advanced Find/Replace dialog (CTRL+R) which allows you to enter the column range yourself. The column numbers will also be displayed if you already have selected a block. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
