This was caused by me having just renamed a folder. I wanted to keep these files open and change the paths in (a copy of) session.xml, so they would be opened upon the next launch again. I edited the session.xml and closed Notepad++. I then compared my edited verion of session.xml with the one saved by Notepad++. I noticed the files that didn't exist anymore, weren't listed in the session.xml anymore. I would have expected them to be, because this would be of no harm when Notepad++ notices upon the next launch that these files do no longer exist. Also, the activeIndex number that was saved was the actual number in Notepad++ with these no longer existing files documents still open. When these files are removed from the session.xml deliberately, then also the activeIndex should (have) be(en) updated. However, I'd rather see the references to all files or documents that were opened when closing Notepad++, so including these documents of which the file doesn't exist anymore. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It recognizes it correctly when the language is C. When the language is SQL, the comment start is '/* ' (with a space) /* ************** Hello ***************/ This is correctly recognized in SQL. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I don't know what happened but now when I open the ftp window to view my connections it is blank. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Notepad++ and even cleaned the registry. The ftp window still opens blank. I have now toolbar to configure my connections or anything. I have a question though. Is there a setting which would prevent / remove any indenting on blank lines? I've found that it's getting quite easy for me to accidentally hit enter a few times and find all those lines indented when I didn't necessarily need them to be indented. I hope I've explained that ok?! Thanks, B ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. However, when you open notepad++ with two files, if you press alt-d, or run a compare from the menu, it will automatically split the panels and synchronize the scroll bars, so its really only one click away from what you want to accomplish :p ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
