Otherwise there must be complicated code which must determine IDs of dynamic menu items added by AppendMenu() or InsertMenuItem() - because we can't specify these IDs obviously. Or there can be another solution: provide new Notepad++'s message NPPM_GETNEXTMENUITEMID which will return an ID which can be used for new menu item. This solution assumes that Notepad++ will have internal counter of menu item IDs which will be updated each time when when a new menu item is added. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Right now I have to choose Explorer->"Folder of Current File" then scroll down to the file, then right-click and add to favorites. Or am I missing something? Thanks :) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This question has been asked numerous times. If there is no BOM and the file does not contain any Unicode characters there is no way for N++ to guess that the file should be opened in Unicode mode. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. For example, I want to be able to find: {at12345} (at12345( }at12345} }st12345{ where "12345" is a string of 2 to 5 numerical characters. I want to replace the string with "@". Could you help me in the following problem? When I try to type in Russian in Notepad++ v4.8.2 I receive something like "K0?0K?K0?0K?K0?K0" instead of "?????????". Text files with Russian already typed earlier or in another editor are opening OK. What is the proble and how to solve it? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I can confirm that even without plugins, Acrobat behaves this way. It's definitely something with the latest version, as it just started doing it after I updated (and I use Acrobat Pro daily, so would have seen it previously!) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I had the same problem under Windows Server 2003 x64 SP2. Found out it had to do with the fact that I.E. was crashing. Rolling back to prior versions was a 'fix' if you want to call it that, but as soon as I.E. was repaired, the recent versions of Notepad++ work as well. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I use the 'remember last operation directory', but it never works unless I misunderstand its operating intention. As far as I can tell, it should recall the last folder I opened a file from or saved to -- it does until Notepad++ is restarted and then proceeds to forget it again, regardless of this setting or that I have N++ sessions turned on. Is there any way to set Notepad to remember the last working folder across sessions/application launches, like UltraEdit and other editors do?
