Can anyone embed the Perl to Notepad++? I think its quite good to use the
functions
(including the regular expression) which provided by Perl.

Ditto. This is still broken as of version 4.8.2.

Is there anyway to keep the multi-line tabs (the tabs that show the open files)
to keep from moving the rows around each time I select a new active file. It
always seems to move the row with the active file to the bottom. I would like
all the rows to stay exactly where they are no matter what file I select. Is
that possible?

I feel that toggle promotes the use of NOT commenting by uncommenting already
commented blocks, it is very annoying. PLEASE provide an option to turn it
off. Notepad++ is almost perfect, this is a big drawback.

Hi Donho

Thank you for Notepad++! It's really great, very good work!

My question: I really like (and need) column mode. But Notepads++ column mode
is weaker than the ones in UltraEdit or Crimson Editor. The following is not
possible in Notepad++, but in the editors mentioned before (assuming you have
written some (e.g. 5) lines "hello" in your editor):

1. suggestion:
Set the cursor for all lines between "h" and "e" without marking the "h" or
the "e". It would also be nice, if then you could write as many character as
you wanted at the place where the cursor is (similar to my 2. suggest).

2. Suggestion:
When you mark all "e"s: Write as many characters as you want between the "h"
and the "l" instead of the "e".

Do you see any chance to change this functionality for Notepad++?

Best regards
phs

Hi..
Did you try creating a test.php with phpinfo() in it to confirm that xdebug
is loaded like it should be?
Try adding xdebug_break(); somewhere in that file and then run it with php
test.php.
If all that works, then it's possible that you have some firewall problem. Try
netstat -a -o to figure out if something is listening on port 9000. Notepad++
(dbgpplugin) should listen on that port.

Best of luck.

Do you see any similar messages about this on the forum?
The answer is already there.

If you find this useful behavior because it is available in other tools, you
can of course continue to use those for the same comfort.

I don't think "almost perfect" and "big drawback" go together, do you?
