No change with smart highlight disabled
I've tried with a 16MB XML file. The problem occures when changing tab, not
when opening it.
The opening of file takes about 1 second, but when I switch to another tab then
come back to the previous one, it takes 110 secondes to display the content...
I'll prepare a sample file and post it on my ftp so you can test it.

within CocReate's One Space Designer 2007, also Notepad++ is included
CoCreate added it's own Lisp Plug-in.
later I downloaded and installed a newer version of Notepad++
but somehow not automaticly CoCreate's Lisp Plug-in is not recognized.
do i overlook something
or should I perferm some manual actions ??
(I prefer to use the latest versions & look approx. once a month for the latest
versions)

Is there existing functionality to support snippets or code chunk templates?
If not are there any third party global snippet tool out there that can
be integrated?
As a developer a code library of frequently used code items would be extremely
useful for all the languages that npp can edit.
Being able to store these items in a folder structure based on language would
be excellent.
If description information could also be stored with the snippet that would
be excellent to.
An additional bonus would be the ability to create smart code templates, that
can prompt for values, and optionally wrap around selections.
There are many Mac applications that can have this functionality, but very
little
for windows (Dreamweaver, NoteTab)
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I've the same problem with file greater than 200-300 KB, like I said in an other
thread.
The problem doesn't appear with version 4.9 (may be UNSTABLE) of 27-04-2008

I would like to highlight text and save it such that when I open the document
again at a later time I can simply scroll to my highlighted area to make
changes.
Does anyone know if this is this possible and how do I do it if it is?

Hi,
The description: dragging a file from Windows Explorer into the NPP text
window.
Actually, Harry, you are right: after I right-clicked NPP.exe.ink -> properties
-> change permissions for myself (turn on Full control, Read/Write, Modify,
etc), I was able to Drag and Drop into NPP from Windows explorer.
Thanks to both of you for your quick response.
Off-topic: Is it possible to get a fix on the parentheses bug ? When using
Verilog, the comment fonts are Comic Sans MS with font size 8, which look great.
But when the cursor is exactly 1 space to the right of a square bracket (and
so the bracket is highlighted), the cursor still looks to the *left* of the
square bracket.
