Actually, as stated in the message, it is only for the inactive tabs that (also)
the background color can be set.

For the two focus bars, there is no background whatsoever, but I do not see
why it would not be desirable to be able to set the active tab's background
color as well.

Is there a plug-in that would provide UTF-7 support for N++? I really like using
this app, but I also need to view/edit files in UTF-7 format. When that happens,
I either open them on my Mac in BBEdit or I'll use SuperEdi on the PC.

Currently when a plugin makes changes only the final edit/navigation operations
are recorded. This causes features that change the cursor position based of
the current position to fail since NotePad++ only records the position the
cursor
went to. So when playing back the macro, the plugins logic is not executed,
it just jumps to the cursor position that was record into the macro.

I have posted a patch that allows plugins to block the recording of
edit/navigation
operations while the plugin command is executing, then add a "pluging macro
operation" to the recorded macro that will call back into the plugin with
arbitraty
data to allow the plugin to "do the right thing".

The problem is part of the "plugin macro operation" is a pointer to a function
to call with the operation data. While this works, these pointers cannot be
reliabaly saved and thus would break the persistant macro feature. I would like
feedback on the best way to get the macro operation data back to the plugin
so that it may replay its part of the macro.

Patch #2016341, contains current changes.

Most of the time the program will hang when I try to paste a column with 16000
rows on top of another column of 16000 rows.

I've discovered, since upgrading to a newer version of Notepad++, that I
sometimes press space while holding down shift when typing rapidly.
Since this is usually innocuous, I've never noticed before.

I have no idea what this feature is supposed to do, but if I rapidly
type something like "__ " before "sprintf," I end up with "__sprintf
sprintf." This happens frequently and is both surprising and annoying.

Since I'm worried correcting this style will impact my typing speed, is
there some way to turn this Alt-Space feature off?

Separately, as a user and programmer, it seems that overloading
typewriter keys that didn't traditionally have a special meaning is a
mistake. Windows Sticky Keys is a good example, having caused far more
annoyance than utility.
