To: notepad-plus-plus@lists.sourceforge.net Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1250; format=flowed Hi all. This is just a suggestion to make Ctrl-Shift-Up and Ctrl-Shift-Down shortcuts work on the currently selected text as opposed to working on the current line as they do now. They should still work on the current line in case there is no text currently selected. It is often real useful to be able to select a paragraph or several lines in a list and move them up or down as a unit. Hope this helps. Best regards, Jurko Gospodneti? ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Wed, 06 Aug 2008 14:21:40 +0000 From: "SourceForge.net" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Notepad-plus-plus] [notepad-plus - Help] RE: Run -> Save To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5150323 By: scott_mattes This method only lets me delete the assigned hotkey, but the Run Menu item still remains. I have also read that editing the shortcuts.xml file, but I do not see the extra commands listed in that file. There are no recently modified files in the NPP++ directory. When I use NPP++ to scan that directory and all sub-dirs for the text of the Run Menu item that I wish to remove the text is not found. How can I delete a Run Menu item? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. My Run Menu item did NOT have a shortcut key. When I hit the Delete key on my keyboard nothing happened. It turns out that you have to right click on the line that you want to work on and select either Modify or Delete. That stewpid right click action gets me again! Maybe the Run help page should be updated. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Works great. I still can't seem to figure out the Function parameter hinting though. What languages does it work with? How does it work? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The problem is that since autohotkey is not a language, I cannot change the colors. The global colors don't allow me to change what I need to change. I find some of the colors (especially the comments) difficult to read on my monitor. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. So I created a new 'User defined language'. Everything works quite good, except of the Code-Folding. As in C I want to have folding for the braces '{ ... }' and for multi-line comments '/* ...*/'. I have only problems with the comments, because when I add them to Folder Open and Folder Close Keywords I can fold the code-block, but it's not longer displayed as a comment (i.e. green in my case). I allready tried out different configurations for the comments and operators, but nothing worked out the way I want it. So either the block is displayed as a comment or I can fold it, but both together doesn't work. Has anyone a solution? Is it possible at all? Thanks for your help, Dante ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I also upgraded from Notepad++ 4.9.2 to 5.0.3 via the automatic update. During install I got some message that "FunctionList.dll" had to be deleted, but I didn't really take notice of it. To my horror, the function list plug-in was gone when I launched Notepad++ 5.0.3. Then I came across this thread and found that I had to download "Function List" plugin from here: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=189927 I followed the instructions in the HOWTO file comparing with what was said in this thread. At first, to my delight, the "Function List" was back in place again, and I was excited. But then it turned out that it wasn't showing any functions. I thought I had been following the instructions? It turned out that there were some old configuration files lying in C:\Documents and Settings\Erik\Application Data\Notepad++\plugins\config (Windows XP) Apparently, this was the %APPDATA% folder. What was confusing me was that the HOWTO file was talking about that the "Plugins/Config" could be either of two places and I did have a folder named C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\Config so I didn't look for an %APPDATA% folder. After deleting all files related to Function List plugin, closing Notepad++, following the instructions, it started working correctly... Thank you everyone. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
