I updated my definitions and performed a manual scan on the file and I'm no longer receiving an alter. I guess they've fixed it. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The best place to find out how to do this and which would be best to use would be either the Powershell mailing list, or (and this is where I'd recommend) the freenode networks #powershell chat room. You can find out the latest and where to get it from the chat room the fastest and with the most help. almostautomated ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Sat, 08 Nov 2008 15:06:02 +0000 From: "SourceForge.net" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Notepad-plus-plus] [notepad-plus - Open Discussion] Linux port To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5602824 By: amikrop Hello. I used to use Notepad++ on Windows, and I found it excellent. But now that I have switched to Linux, I can't use it. I know there are tons of alternatives (many of which are good), and I know that I can use WINE. I would prefer to use Notepad++ itself, instead of the alternatives, because I am so much used to it. WINE indeed does some emulation, but the result is not just perfect. The program is slow, it doesn't look very nice, and it has bugs. I wonder if a Linux port of Notepad++ would be so difficult for you to make. I strongly believe it is worth it, as many many people would use it, and I, personally, would love to see such a movement. Thanks, and keep up the very good work. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Try searching for it. It's not the first time people here complain about AVG's false positives. This time it's about the installer, last time it was the Scintilla DLL. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Took a while to install it. I tried stopping all avg services, but it still didn't install. Finally I found Tools->Advanced Settings->Exceptions->Add Path. I put my normal download folder there (actually I created a new one \temp\goodDownloads). Then I moved the exe to that folder and was able to install it. I hope it wasn't really infectd, I didn't even md5sum it. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
