As far as i am concerned the replace character in notepad++, I found the version
5.0.3 had the replace option with the special character such as \t \n and so
on; if you are good at the C/C++ language you should known what do those
character
mean.

Press the CTRL+H, then fill the target with
\t

replace
(four spaces you do not see in here)

try it,Good Luck

Thanks a lot, Jens.

Is there any chance that the spellchecker plugin will also support Aspell 0.6
(e.g. http://www.nosq.com/blog/2005/07/aspell-0603-for-win32) ? Hungarian isn't
in Aspell 0.5...

Regards, Laci

1. Does anyone have an updated Function list plugin that will work with
Notepad++ v5.1? (the plugin posted on the webpage is not compatible with
v5.1)

2. Does anyone have a fast search plugin (faster search across thousands of
files; should be quicker than the default search) for v5.1?

Thanks,
Hari

Hi there. Notepad++ is creating .bak files of files I edit. I didn't change
anything in the prefs, and it's quite annoying. What happened? What did I do?
Can someone help? Thanks.

Sorry for the typo error in the title, I meant "bak files".

In my old Notepad++ (v5.0.3) I had the NppExec plugin installed; when opening
the console, the working directory used to be that of the selected file.
Now, with the latest versions of Notepad++ and the NppExec plugin, the working
directory is always that of the Notepad++ instalation. I know I can CD to
wherever
I want, but that's added work that I didn't have before.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Notepad ++ Version: v5.1 (ANSI)
Plugin: NppExec v2.5 R2

Thanks!

I wasn't sure what search terms to use... but that sure did it.

To follow up:
The thread that was most useful to me was
http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4818287

It turns out that I have ATI Hydravision running. I know because in the process
tab of the Windows Task Manager I found "hydraDM.exe". As soon as I removed
it from my running processes, I was able to run Npp without problems.

Now I just need to wade through all the ATI settings to find out how to disable
Hydravision permanently...
