Same issue with N++5.1.1 and Hex Editor 0.9.1, works ok for a few times, then
every time it is used it crashes N++.

OS Vista Ultimate, but same on XP SP3.

Any ideas ? Are others having the same problem ?

Hello all,

I am pretty new to Notepad++. If I have two or more files/documents open at
the same time, is there some easy keyboard shortcut to let me switch between
them, similar to ctrl-pageup/pagedown in Firefox? At the moment, the best I
can do is alt, go to Window, select which window I want, and it is a little
bit awkward.

I looked at the list of shortcuts, but could not find anything to help
me there.

Thank you, in advance.

Actually, it can be done without usage of 'cmd.exe'. You can use several
commands
(one command per line) which will be executed one by one. For example:

cd "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)"
"$(SYS.JAVA_HOME)\bin\javac" "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"

In such case you can see the javac's output in NppExec's Console. But it's just
details.
By the way, I am planning to add a new command, ENV_SET, which will allow to
set environment variables such as PATH or JAVA_HOME for any process (program)
you start from Notepad++. Note that "planning" does not mean "implementing" :)

P.S.
It's a shame, seems nobody looks at existing forum topics before posting:

Lots of tools support the Ctrl+F4 shortcut to close a tab. Notepad++ should
do the same!

Thanks for testing. I tried my patch and it seems to be working (results in
folders containing unicode chars were displayed correctly)

I suppose the next release will fix it (or maybe I'll release my own version,
but I'm trying to get all my changes integrated to the main Npp code).

Its not that we don't care, its time and capacity thats the limiting factor
here :). There are also issues with the threading of FiF which have to be
addressed
as well, I believe Don is working on it.

My 2 cents

Hi Harry

I do realize that there are several features that needs to be fixed or enhanced.
I had looked through the bug tracker and I didn't find any rapports regarding
Find in files in versions older than version 4.9.3.
So to be sure that the bug hadn't been forgotten I posted the message.
Keep up the good work.

J?rgen Rasmussen
