Hi List++ ;-)
I already did some Experiments with Don's "GUP.EXE" and maybe
I can contribute something to the project later, but I wanted to
know before how "the rollout" is planned. Is the (wonderfull)
NSIS-Installer the choosen way? Should'nt there also be an Ansi-
Version?
Is it possible to package a "customized" version of N++ (plugins,
stylers.xml, etc) with the sources? I got N++ compiled and also
found Don's "nppSetup.nsi".. Is there a "package" containing all
needed things for the installer (language-files etc.)

Im running Windows Vista 64-bit and I'm lacking the "Edit with Notepad++"
context
menu item in Total Commander. According to Total Commander homepage Total
Commander
can only read 32-bit shell extensions, so can I install the 32-bit shell
extension
manually, and if so - how?
I still have the context menu item in Windows Explorer.

Did this ever work? When was it last known to work or when was it supposed to
be a new feature? I still use version 4.6 and it doesn't work there either.
Instead it places a non-printing character where my cursor is.

Jasspa's MicroEmacs offers a whole slew of abilities. Such as alphanumeric marks
so you can place marks all over the document and then simply issue a keyboard
command to move to a mark.
It also has a full programming/macro language built-in, along with a keyboard
recorder to play back your keystrokes, very, very handy.
The only thing I don't like is the GUI, it's not a typical Windows-style program
and it's kinda clunky. But you can write some very complex editing scripts with
it and have them execute with a few keystrokes and remap the keyboard to your
liking.
Now if they only would re-do the interface. I might have to try GNU Emacs.
