Since the toolbar and the desktop seem to be improperly redrawn as well, I
suspect
something is amiss with the window manager. Since I can see a little button
next to the minimize button, maybe some 3rd party application causes it. Try
booting into safe mode and run Notepad++ then, and tell if the problem persists
(and if that printer icon is gone or not).
Some ATI application causes conflicts as well, since no developers have any
ATI hardware to debug this, its hard to fix.

Is there any way to define numeric bookmarks (like in Delphi) by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+1..9 and to go to bookmark by pressing Ctrl+1..9 accordingly?

*Can't find an edit button*

Just to clarify I'm thinking about XML syntax highlighting inside the literals
and code folding.

check the "forums" link at the top (orange) header part of the page. It's a
dropdown and thats where the search feature is hidden!

Matt, unless I've misunderstood your post I believe you might have missed the
'User Defined Language files' section near the end of the downoad page: there
is a Smarty item there.
It takes some additional step to include it into NPP, but once you've done this
the syntax highlighting for Smarty works just fine.

Additional note: it looks like line spacing is also a problem.

You can set the default font size to whatever you want for C++ -- it'll still
use the line spacing from the *global* font size, if one is set.

Hello all.

I've fallen into itch scratching mood today and ended up writing an autocomplete
file for Smarty. Don't expect too much of it - I haven't found a way to make
the parameters hint popup behave, so I did it the quick and dirty way. Functions
(both built-in and custom) and default modifiers are listed twice: first with
just the required parameters (if any) and then once more with all acceptable
parameters. A closing angle bracket (}) is included with all functions - as
one's gonna need it there sooner or later anyway. Won't win any beauty contest,
but it does the job.

Smarty coders, get it straight from http://www.kozina.com/Smarty.xml and store
it in the plugins/APIs subfolder, then restart NPP. You are supposed to have
Smarty set up as a User Defined language beforehand for the autocomplete to
work, I guess.

If you stumble upon any error, typo or other mishap leave a note on this thread.
If you happen to find out how to have those parameters displayed after the
function
autocomplete: great! Cry out loud and leave a message (and a sample, please)
here again.

djn

As it happens, I've just put together an autocomplete file for Smarty syntax.
Take a look at this thread:

Has this bug creeped back into the latest release? I'm experiencing it now
with v5.1.4

Thanks!
