Have no idea...

Probably somehow Notepad++ Files and Settings got inconsistent and just didn't
work...

But glad to hear that it worked!

I'm glad to see someone has taken the initiative to pick up where I left off.
Can you send me a copy of your work so I can update my lexers?

Thanks for this very nice editor. I was just editing some fortran codes. I
noticed that the Syntax highlighting is not conforming to the setting of
Styler Configurator. For example 'implicit', 'integer' etc. are set to be
blue color, but in the editor they are different. Is there anything that I
have to do?

Thanks,

If it hadn't been for your original template I doubt if I would've ever really
worked on it as much as I did, so the thanks really goes back to you and Don.

I sent over the source, if you have any recommendations or ideas I'd appreciate
the feed back. Like I mentioned in the OP, it is essentially a complete
rewrite,
so don't be too shocked when you see the difference. :P Hopefully the code
comments and help.txt file are enough to show what I changed.

Hi I want to improve the NotePad++ when working with multiple open files. Please
put a "x" to close each tab near the file name in the tab. Just like as it does
in IE7 tabs system. Also, if I close all the open files, there is still a
remaining
window open that says "new 13" or "new 5" etc and the number keeps on increasing
every time. Please allow to close all the possible windows and open only what
is needed. Atleast in the next version. Please also put the "Latest version"
more clearly in your home page as part of the main text. I had to search it
all over until I found it in the left. Also please put a "Check for updates.."
button within Notepad++

You are right it was associated to Notepad first of all of course. After
installing
Notepad++, I wanted to change the default .txt filetype association to Notepad++
(using "open as" and browsed to Notepad++.exe).

Should be working that way?

Take a look at the options. It's already there.
