After some delay, its fixed on the SVN, expect it to be in the next release
(however, if you already have npp installed, I dont think the installer will
touch shortcuts.xml if it is already present).

I want to make a list from a certain number to another number for example:
3200-3800

But I need to do it in this format:

http://www.imagehost.com/images/3200_large.jpg
http://www.imagehost.com/images/3201_large.jpg
.
.
. (3200 all the way to 3800)
.
.
http://www.imagehost.com/images/3799_large.jpg
http://www.imagehost.com/images/3800_large.jpg

Is there a way to autofill in the entries?

Read the original question as well. You may just get a clue.

I use Open Office to write macro and export it to file with *.bas file type.
Then I want to edit my macro with NotePad++.
The Notepad++ has Language VB file type but *.bas is the same type.

Somebody can help me???

I know about the right click+scroll to switch between open documents, but I
find it unintuitive because I have to read the paths before I know which
document
I want to select. Also, the order the documents in this selection menu is not
the same as the tabs.

I would like the active document to change when I turn the mousewheel when the
cursor is over the tab bar. (This is how I switch between my tabs in Firefox
(using Tab Mix Plus extension to enable this functionality).)

Thank you for creating and continuing to develop my favourite texteditor!

I've seen several references to a 'recent files list' -- for instance in the
5.1.4 release announcemnt ( http://is.gd/ie4M ) -- but I don't see any such
list in the File menu of my copy of Notepad++ (5.1.4 ANSI) or any mention of
it in the help file.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

For the compatibility with Notepad++, I've compiled OpenCTags with Unicode.
Here it is : http://openctags.sourceforge.net

Hmm...

Open the file menu and start reading the items one-by-one... You should see:

New
Open
...
...
Close
Close All
...
...
Print
Print Now!

And below that my friend... is the recent files list :D

Your problem was that you were probably looking for something called "Recent
Files List", but not looking for the list itself... :D

Sorry to dissent, Googie.
After Print now! I have a separator and then Exit and nothing more.
I'm running 5.1.4 Unicode on Vista 32
Ciao!

Hello plugin developers!

Could someone recommend a method of forcefully updating both the Main and Second
views from an external lexer plugin that will also force Notepad++ to update
the doc pointer to the non-active view, call for styling, and then revert back
to the original pointer?

What's going on is that I'm using a normal style ( styleID < 32 ) that shows
in the wordstyledlg to allow users to configure highlighters. This style info
is then read by a highlighter init routine and sends the appropriate messages
to scintilla to configure the indicators. In the dlg window the 'bold'
translates
to the highlighter being 'active', 'italics' translates to 'erase highlight
on leading whitespace', and 'underline' to the indicator drawing over/under
the text.

The part that obviously doesn't work correctly for the non-active view is the
changing of whitespace highlighting because it requires a re-lexing of the doc,
which is easy enough to call (with SCI_STARTSTYLING) on the active doc, as well
as the non-active. BUT! When called on the non-active view, Notepad++ doesn't
update the Scintilla pointer (I think that's SCI_SETDOCPOINTER), so when a call
is done for something like SCI_BRACEMATCH you end up with no-matching brace.

I had thought about managing the doc pointer myself, but there's a problem there
also. I'm not finding a way to use either Notepad++ or Scintilla messages to
determine which views doc pointer is current without going through quite a few
steps.

Perhaps, get the index for both views, test for the current view, set a flag,
send the activate doc message for non-active, do styling, see the flag and
revert
to the previous index...

Is there a simple method to handle this that anyone can suggest?

Thanks,
almostatuomated
