No I like it, it never crashed for me. And working directly online is
so better.

Anyway, it's the default version 0.9.6.1 . I know Windows 7 isn't supported
which is why I asked for the config storage.

Greg: So if the only folder I have is for tidy, the developer puts the config
elsewhere?

Does anyone know where?

That would be my assumption. Look in the registry or <profile> App Data???

How I can write or convert texts in OEM codepage (russian OEM 886 and 1251
codepages
are not same)?
For example, .bat-files use OEM codepage.
Thx.

As the title of this thread says: FunctionList V2 not V1.2.

I'll wait, as I said before, for V2 or later.

As I have no problems with my V5.0.2 that I can't live with, I see no urgency
to upgrade.

Call me when a Unicode build of V2 or later is available, until then .....

David

hi,
is there an option to turn on a ruler at the top of the window?

I am writing c / c++ code and would like to limit my text to 80 characters wide,
that way when I have to edit them in some other shell window (those are 80 chars
wide) nothing wraps in the window.

it would be awesome if there was a ruler bar across the top of the window, where
you could turn it on or off, and with the option of having one dashed line
coming
down the right side which is settable to be at so many characters from the left.
that way you know the character width of your file and can see it coming as
you're typing,
it's a little hard to read the column number at the bottom of the screen.
right now I just resize the whole window, but then you end up compacting menu
buttons at the top and when you do type past that width you can't see how far
your text goes out to the right.

One of the features of Notepadd++ that I've used the most is the ability to
highlight a selection and Ctrl-Alt-right arrow or Ctrl-Alt-left arrow to
navigate
to the next or previous occurence. Upon upgrading to 5.2, I find that
capability
gone and am still experiencing the grief associated with the death of a loved
one. What's worse, I went back as far as 5.1.1 and couldn't get it back.
Frankly,
I can't find any new features worth the loss of this one.

Could it be a plugin I forgot about? Is there any way to get it back short
of writing a plugin myself?

Help!!!!!!

Yah, it shows the files as having one CR at the end of every line, but then
after every line there is a CR LF.
Converting between formats just changed LF to CR's basically, but did not remove
any double spaced lines.

What's so weird is that it is formatted correctly in regular Notepad, but in
Notepad++ and Dreamweaver it is double spaced.

Maybe it has something to do with being uploaded through WinSCP and then going
back and forth between that.

Something like:
Menu: Settings -> Options -> View -> Right margin
(I'm translating back from a localized version, so the wording is probably
inaccurate.)
