When you write in TCL, if you use the conditional "if", there is the option
to collapse this level.

I agree.

But if you make a comment with # as first char (for people who want to try),
and just followed by "if", npp considers it like if it was "real" (aka not
included
in a comment), and the option to collapse appears. But it's just a comment ^^,
should not have the possibility to collapse (like if we use while / for / proc
/ ...).

The only error appears for the "if" i think, should be like for the other ones.

Ex :

# Start comment here
#
# if anything goes wrong ...
# ....
# i stop the comment here ^^

The if will be interpreted like if it was not in comment, and we can collapse
at this level, but the collapse start at if and end at end of code.

Those (http://tigerware.sk/php_keywords.txt and
http://tigerware.sk/javascript_keywords.txt) are not reserved words. Those are
library functions (and variables?).

In this 5.2 version, hotkey Alt-L has double definition. Besides the old
function
which it had (open Language menu), it now also means "compare to last save".

As I have used the old feature quite much (Alt-L+C+Enter to change language
highlight to C), it now bothers me that this compare hotkey overrides this (when
I press Alt-L it does "compare to last save" instead of opening language menu).

Thanks beyond measure, JR. I had those keystrokes firmly programmed into my
nervous system and it was frustrating for them not to work. I had looked
through
the shortcut mapper for the functionality, and wondered what Find (volatile)
meant!

snoopydog wrote that version 0.25 of TextFX fixed the problem.

However, my version of Npp uses TextFX 0.26 and I have the same problem.

I found one setting that solved it for me :

Goto TextFX menu > TextFX Settings > Un-check +Autoconvert typed HTML/XML to
&entities;

I played with TextFX settings for a while before I found that one, so I don't
know if it is the only setting involved, or it is a combination of many. But
unchecking that one solved it for me.

Hope it works.

I recently upgraded to 5.2 and probably clicked too fast. Now my user languages
are not usable, although the old userDefineLang.xml file is present in folder.
Not sure how to activate and use again. Anybody know how to overcome this?

Well, I un-installed, rebooted, re-installed with the (1st) option to load
settings
from install folder (USB, etc.) and placed userDefineLang.xml back into folder.
All is working properly. Went too fast, sorry!

That's where they are!
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins\config

But no settings on where the window is...strange.

I am having the same issue. I tried creating a Favorites.dat file and tried
putting it in all of the directories to try it out.

No Luck.

Anyone else have a trick?

Hi. I thought if I chose 'html' as language, Notepad++ would help me out with
framework, close tags automatically, etc. Any way to do that?

Can't find any way to insert graphic with all properties, width, height, etc.

Tried to search help before writing and can't find anything specific. Appreciate
your help. Thanks!
