Hello.
I find myself frequently scrolling while I still have the Ctrl key pressed
from a previous operation, resulting in zooming in / out in the text, which
is rather annoying.
I've looked around in the menus and online, and I've not found anything to
disable this feature.
Is there a way to actually do this? If not, that would be quite appreciated
in a future release.

Is there no way in Notepad++ to have hanging indents as a default display when
a line wraps (ala Crimson Editor). I'm trying to switch over but my old stuff
(tons of it) looks horrible.

I just don't believe it.
I tried just what you want using the TextFX Find/Replace dialog.
I noticed it just works, just as I expected using Notepad++ V5.3.1 ANSI.
You may have made a typo.

Hi ;
would it be possible to add a language highlight for the SMARTY language (I
think Smarty is an SF project too). PHP is not really equal I feel : some tags
like $SOMETHING with Smarty are different than in PHP.
But I'm very very new in these matters :-( ...

Item 2 is also a very important one for me, as I often have opened different
projects simultaniously which are located at completely different locations.
N++ version 5.2 has this behaviour, so I switched back to this version. I am
wondering why this great feature got lost again in version 5.3...?

Hallo!
I am not a programmer but a writer.
I am impressed with Notepad++ and am trying to do the following:
1. Segment English sentences & add open & close brackets with
1.1. Phrase text within one bracket set and
1.2. Parts of speech tags within an enclosed bracket set.
I would like to do this by docking a separate column for
2.1. this script and other scripts such as
2.2. Parts-of-speech tags and a
2.3. English to German dictionary
2.4. Search scripts to look up in the dictionary.
I have the impression that Notepad++ has the function to allow this but in need
some direction help.
Who can provide me with some good advice & direction suggestions?
