When I upgraded to 5.3.1 it said compare was now imcompatible. Is that for
real? or is it just a glitch in the install?
It is not a heavily used plugin, but it does come in handy from time to time.

I like the new Line Change State Bar that was introduced in version 5.3.
However, when undoing changes to the file's last save, the line Change State
Bar does not return to green.
The little save icon in the tab bar returns to blue as usual. Please have the
Change State Bar function like that.

I used to have this auto-completion functionality in Notepad++
For instance I could define something like "incl" with completion text "#include
<$>"
and then typing incl<ctl-ENTER> would have it replace my text with the
replacement
text and put the cursor where the $ was located.
I had created several of this kind of short cut, and I have noticed they are
now gone.
Was this a plugg-in that was not unicode compliant? Or was this a feature of
NotePad++ that has become disabled?

Very busy right now and don't have time to fully document or see if it's already
reported.
I accidentally tried to open a new file with the name of a directory that
already
existed
Windows XP SP3 32 bit
latest notepad++
To repro:
mkdir tmp
notepad++ tmp
This apparently causes the tabs to redraw infinitely, screen flickers like it's
in a tight loop

Hi Notepad++ developers,
It is the most amazing text editor I have ever used. It has become indispensable
for me!! I have only one request, i generally create and keep open a lot of
files in it. when restarting my system, it asks me 20 times for each file: do
you want to save it. It would be great if there was an option of saving all
documents temporarily without asking me and opening them next time when I
restart
notepad++ as unsaved documents again. It already does that for saved documents
- i.e. opening them again when opening Notepad++. What do you feel about this?

What I usually do after replying is (log out and)return to the original page
I read the thread from, refresh it, and look if what I wrote appears.
Why would you keep the same webpage open for so many days?Don't you ever turn
the machine off?

Is there any way to insert the Date first, then the Time? That way, I can sort
in chronological order. Currently, it appears to insert the Time first, then

i use the notepad for the latex. I want a comment/uncomment function with
the shortcut.
for example the bellow

when i select those lines, then use some shortcut to realise the comment

and the uncomment function is vice versa.
