Hi,
Yet another release of the FileSwitcher plugin. This is primarily a bug fix
release, but the "next" and "previous" menu items have been changed round to
the more sensible order of "previous" first, so you need to remap your shortcuts
if you're using an existing version.

The other fixes in this release are (pretty much all down to fool4uanyway's
testing!) :
+ FIXED Ctrl-Tab wiping out what was typed for each document
+ FIXED Document selection and scroll position being wiped out when switching
(with or without the file switcher)
+ FIXED Ctrl-(sh)-Tab not highlighting the correct document initially
+ FIXED Sort-descending was selected after selecting "Always Remember"

1.1 is aiming for having the highlight bar colour changed, and
most-recently-used
and most-commonly-used columns / sort orders. 1.2 may well have the docking
interface requested by Don :)

Locations are the same:
UNICODE:

ANSI
http://www.brotherstone.co.uk/npp/FileSwitcher_ANSI.zip

Source

Thanks again,

Dave.

Well, I think it's a little different from what you might expect.

My guess, that is, my experience with just a quick hide sequence a minute ago,
is, that the "start" option just resets the step counter.

After that, each "singlestep next" will perform the current step on the list.
So in fact the "first next" step will be the "really first" step in the
Hide/Show
sequence.

The second next step was just (as) the second step I performed before. And I
guess this is how it continues.

This is more an interpretation- or description-like kind of bug, just like most
of the times the current line in the document won't be hidden even if it meets
the condition applied. But hey: you can get it to work correctly if you re-apply
all steps...

I have also the same problem. I have 4 lists of around 20000 words (not just
characters) which I would like to insert in my custom language in Notepad++.
I think that even expanding the size to 65000 characters wouldn't be enough
to fit the 4 lists. Maybe you guys know a solution.

at least I learn from CChris that there is a way to double the capacity of the
Keywords list to 65000 and that for my mega long lists I will have to wait for
a modification of the Scintilla's code

Hey, great! Feels like it works again as exepected.

Looks like my column options were set back to the defaults: the Index column
was last again. I added the View column (don't know if that reset the lot).

I noticed that in the text edit box were you can type the document's name search
string, you can't do much more. Home and End keys don't work "there", probably
because the dialog itself catches them. I would like to be able to jump to the
start and end of the typed text easily, as I am used to in such boxes.

Hello, I'm using Notepad++ with a portable drive and I want to disable
any write-intensive stuff, such as Notepad++'s ability to automatically save
sessions in session.xml. Any pointers?

Sure doesn't.

That's what I expected as well.
This one seems ok.

That is what I expected too, but doesn't always work.

sequence.

The first step is taken as expected.

Admittedly, since there is no doc, this is not a documented feature, hence is
a bug, QED. :-)

> just like most of the times the current line in the document won't be hidden

correctly

plugin\doc\NPPTextFXdemo.txt does mention the start line never being hidden,
which is ok. I took care to start at a different line so as not to interfere
with this documented feature.

Is there any more complete text - well, something like a documentation - for
the plugin? I was planning to write something about line manipulation on the
wiki, which is why I got interested in this particular TextFX menu functions.

Thanks for investigating anyway.

CChris

the find box bug is fixed. Just uncheck the line "transparency" in find box,
it will disappear when you close.

No comment? I think this should work for you as well as it does for me.

I just had a very simple test, similar to yours.
In the document I hid (between) lines 21 - 30, then I hid lines 5 - 10.

If I redo these actions in single step mode, it all works. So perhaps there
is something specific to your document that prevents these steps from being
visible again. Try and see if you can get _some_ set of steps to work (again).

I found out about these nice FX all without documentation.

Crashed again when opening session.....Do you need the "NppDump.dmp" for
