I'd like to make it easier to write <code> tags and such, when writing HTML. There appears to be a simple typing macro recorder, but I can't find instructions on recording or scripting more complex things. For example, in other editors I've made a script that will add <code></code> around the current selection if there is one, or select the current word first if there isn't. I'd like to do something similar in N++. But, if there is already a better way, some full-blown HTML feature pack, I'm all ears. Thanks, --John ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Also I changed this setting, "display line change state margin" as I really dislike the line at beginning. However when I uncheck it now entire rows turn that color. How do I disable that completely? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. There is something about downloading Quicketext, but it is soon (like 5 seconds) obscured by an advertisement ppop up. After like 10 loadings of the page, I was able to read "The file was posted by a user responsible for ..." or something like that. No way to download from there using IE6. Using Firefox 1.0, I was not able to download the file, but at least didn't get the pop up. However, I could open rhe file, so I could copy the contents. I'm happy I managed to snatch the dll at a time where it was actually available. Good luck to users, specially novices to internet. But it's all right, this is not a broken link, technically. As a side note, I'm just a nobody here who compiled this plugin in unicode mode and sharing it, actually I ain't even using it. So thank you for your kind words. cocinerox ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Code folding works, but View->[Collapse the level] seem to be broken. If collapsing the level worked, it would save me a TREMENDOUS amount of time. In the help documentation about folding, there is an error. The line reads: Blocks of texts are 'parented' to others and by folding them (also called collapsing) only the first line is hidden. It should read: Blocks of texts are 'parented' to others and by folding them (also called collapsing) only the first line is shown. I find Notepad++ to be a very useful tool for editing Python source. I'm running XP sp3, Notepad++ v5.3.1. Thanks for a great job! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Then copying of user defined settings from machine to machine would be much productive. Thanks. Still using IE6 and Firefox 1.0, and you're wondering how come pages aren't rendering properly? IE's on v8 now, and Firefox has been on v3 for months now (current is 3.0.10). cocinerox's links worked fine for me, although I don't actually use that plugin. Good job, cocinerox. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Any fix?" There really isn't an 'issue' with either plugin, except they use the same marker id numbers. The ChangeMarker plugin uses the ones Don assigned to it; and the compare plugin uses ones that are in the 'reserved for Notepad++' range. Yes there is a fix, the plugin could be modified to use marker numbers between 0 and 15; a better solution would be to modify it to make use of the NppSciMarker plugin that allows for plugins to cooperatively be assigned marker ids that wont conflict whith eachother or N++. Having marker assignments be a part of the plugin API has been discussed and hopefully will make it in after the Scintilla 1.78 upgrade. Even after the update though it is up to the plugin. Can't blame the writer though, as there wasn't any type of marker guidelines published before the conversation in this thread => https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2984130&forum_id=482781 almostautomated ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
