Has anyone looked into adding a print preview feature to NP++??? I think it
would be really helpful as I like to print out code before looking over it at
times, and I'd like to make sure it was going to come out readable.

Thanks much Jean, I guess it's time for me to start using unicoded. I don't
know what the tradeoffs are for me. I'd stayed with ansi because I hadn't had
any problems or limitations with it (other than a couple plugins now have the
upgrades in unicode only which I guess is reason to go for it - it's progress

Reg: Notepad++ tail plugin
You can use the Doc Monitor Plugin from NPP to get tail -f behavior
On the document to follow select
Plugins -> Document Montior -> Start Montior
and to stop monitoring do
Plugins -> Document Montior -> Stop Montior
Note: Doc monitor is part of the default plugins that ship with Notepad++

I am using npp 5.4.3, newly installed, and Compare 1.5.3.
I open a SQL file, make some changes and then select Compare to last save.
Compare opens a new window with the same SQL file showing the change that I
made but the new window does not have any Syntax Highlighting.

The "Find Results" window has this tiny close button (the x in the upper right
corner), much smaller than the regular ones of other windows.
I guess this was made to keep the title bar of this window small in height.
Would it be possible to make a middle click on that title bar close the "Find
Results"-window?
A double click already toggles the window modes (docked, floating), so that
would fit in the scheme.

Same!
I was on version 5.3.1 on my Windows 2000 desktop at work. I upgraded to 5.4.3
and lost the toolbar. Tried a few things like changing themes - no luck at all.
I downloaded and installed 5.4.2 and it works fine. Tried installing 5.4.3 again
just in case the upgrade jump was too big, but still no dice. Back to 5.4.2
and it works fine.
Installed 5.4.3 in my Windoze XP laptop at home and it works fine.

Define a keyword group containing "jump/" and check the Prefix checkbox. Using
the UDL is faster and more reliable imho.

File -> Print displays the standard Print dialog box on your system. The Print

Hi,
I have a related problem too, with the Romanian characters on Windows 7 RC x64.
?-? and ?-? don't appear correctly, and ?? ?? ?? look slightly differently
than they should. I had these problems in 5.4 and now updated to 5.4.3 and
they're
still here.
All other programs (including the old Notepad) work correctly. Also, I've been
using Romanian characters inside Notepad++ on XP x64 without problems.
Important: if I copy&paste from word, the characters are pasted correctly.
