Yes, the revamping Notepad++ web site is needed, for both graphical design
(look & feel) and reorganization of data (programable code).

Notepad++ site web is rather an entry, a picture of Notepad++ which contains
the static data.
whereas wiki page (NpWiki++) contains the "dynamical data" (which will be
updated

Notepad++ site web is important, since its role is the prior interface for
users. It should point to NpWiki++ for some technical information because that
will release a lot of effort of site maintenance.

Notepad++ is hosted in SourceForge. They do provide php + mysql under LAMP

It's true that it's not easy to navigate on download page. I'd like to do the
folding feature (javascript) for each section, but I got no time. The anchors
and the section shortcut list on the header is a good compromise between the
coding effort and navigation facility. Chris is doing it on the current download
page.

Not sure I follow you, are you offering the graphical design as well?
As I mentioned before, both graphical design and reorganization of data
(programable
code) are needed. And I don't see the advantage to recode the web page without
change the current look and feel...

Difficult to say... it's not green for sure (the green colour was for going
with lizards).
light blue, light purple, or orange might my favorite colour.

I just Dled NPPTextFX.v0.25.src as zipped. I then unzipped it in
a folder called \Notepad++\plugins folder.
<To install this plugin, unpack NPPTextFX.DLL and NPPTextFX\*.HTM;*.TXT ;*.INI
to the plugins folder in the N++ install folder then load N++. Delete those
files without N++ running to remove the plugin. If everything is working, a
Plugins menu will appear and the new tool should be listed under it.<
How do I use a plain text. I have 70 chars in this email. but the
message says 300 chars.

There seems to be a clash with predefined extensions between Haskell and
ActionScript.
That needs to be investigated / fixed...
We need to find a way to have the users specify their preferences... Maybe
if a user removes a language from their language menu, we should also remove
it from the styler configurator, and never style according to a language that
is not present and / or not care about extension for languages that are
disabled?
We'll think about it.

Thanks for the update Don. Still a minor issue with this version where if you
open a filename with a '&' character in it's name it does not show up properly
in the tab caption. Instead it puts a underlined letter in the caption title.

Hi,
I'm running NPP 5.3.1 Unicode. I noticed that my hex editor plugin had gone
away somehow, so I clicked on ? and "Get More Plugins". This connects to a
"Summary" page that lists the names of many of the plugins, below which there
is a large green "Download Now" button.
There's also the option "or view all files". I clicked on "Download Now".
This got me an XMLTools.dll that doesn't work without some other library I'd
have to download. There's nothing on that page to indicate that other downloads
are required.
Why does the "Get More Downloads" option point to a page with a download button
for only one of them, and that one requires other downloads not shown?
It isn't clear that the download won't get the other plugins as well. With
the only other option being "or view all files", the logic makes it seem like
you don't need to do both to get all the plugins.
