Btw, Ctrl+Alt shortens to AltGr on european keyboards. As for finding where a function is defined, I like the way FunctionList tells me about it. I think this is done when the latest release has had some time to bed in, and receive feedback, i.e. when the 5.4 strain is considered stable. You can always download the 5.4.5 install package or zipped release from the sourceforge download area. I want to simply replace the start of the line (^) with something else. In Textpad I could just put in ^ as the regular expression, and it would add my replacement to the start of each line. In Notepad++ I can't figure out how to insert text at the start of the line using the "^" - I've only seen examples like "^." which replaces the 1st character of the line with my replacement - but I want to retain the 1st character. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. What I'd like to do is be able to move down after inserting the X and be in the same column position as I was previously - Textpad works like this and is very handy to quickly modifying rows of data. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ..X............. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
