Hello,
despite the shortcuts CTRL+TAB and CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to switch to previous/next
document, I would like to switch to the next/previous document shown in the
tab bar next to the active tab/document. Is there any shortcut available for
that? Sadly, I haven't found one yet :(
Thanks.

I would do a little batch toadd to winxp registry Notepad++ as default editor
for all extensions it supports, even if I don't have admin rights.
Where I can found in the source code the list of extensions Npp checks to apply
syntax highlight?

They all are in the "ext" attribuute of the <Language> tags in langs.xml, in
your installation folder. They are double quoted strings containing each a space
separated list of extensions, without leading dot.

I found that the "whole word" search does not behave like on some other editors.
In the posted text, the "/<" and ">/" are considered words by Notepad++ (v5.4.5
uni), and thus "<StoreName>" will not be found but "/<StoreName>/" will. For
the same reason, searching for "/" will not find the occurrences in "/<" and
">/". Both VisualStudio2005 and NetBeans6 will find "<StoreName>" when in
"whole
word" mode.

NOTEPAD++ Version 5.4.5

Sybase SQLAnywhere supports two IF statement formats for different purposes

IF ...  THEN ... ELSE ... END IF;
                (note space in END IF - as a conditional executable statement
- common)
    AND
IF ... THEN ... ELSE ... ENDIF
               (note no space in ENDIF - internal within a SQL statement
(probable
extension))
in the following context
UPDATE {table}
       SET {col}  = IF {col2} = 'A' THEN 1 ELSE 0 ENDIF,
               (col3} = IF {col4} = 'B' THEN 1 ELSE 0 ENDIF;

Adding ENDIF to the other SQL reserve words is not an issue, I understand the
Styler Configurator.

However the new outline expansion contraction mechanism the boxed + and - get
confused as they do not appear to be recognizing ENDIF similarly to END IF.
Currently this is an annoyance when the above two items in the set statement
are construed as cascading IFs instead of non-cascading IFs. I'm not sure if
it will become a greater problem as I make other uses of the available syntax
extension.

Can ENDIF be added as equal to END IF in the SQL syntax for the opening and
closing of IF statements? This should not be terribly adverse to non-SQL
Anywhere
users as their SQL engines will catch the missing space when statements are
executed. This could also be made optional (configurable) however I am not
sure that is necessary given that the target SQL engine will object to ENDIF
(if inappropriate) when the command is executed and the fact that inclusion
of ENDIF in the Styler Configurator could and should remain a user option.

Thanks for considering this in advance.

It appears from the .XML file and Styler Configurator you already support the
ELSEIF in place of ELSE in SQL IF statements (I have not tested this).

But if I click the button REPLACE ALL or REPLACE ALL IN ALL OPENED DOCUMENTS
then it should not matter whether I've selected WRAP or not right?

Is there one out there?
I am using Notepad 3.4, and I understand that some of the newer versions can
submit directly to W3C for validation However I am more interested in an on
board Validation plug in. Is this a possibility?

I have been caught several times with no internet access and going back to fix
an error 10 pages back and finding that it's cascading...Let's just say I would
like to catch things a bit sooner...

Aloha! I'm relatively new to NPP, but it is quickly becoming my text editor
of choice. I have tried several others and the only other I use is Textpad.

I have some feature requests, and if Admin feels it appropriate you may relocate
this thread.

First, if this doesn't already exist -- Oops it does. Anyway.

Second, the one reason I haven't given TextPad up is block editing. If you
incorporated that feature I would say NPP is superior to every text editor I've
used. I NEED to have a program with that capability.

And third, a feature from an ancient editor which I have not seen for years
is the option to have the current line remain in the center of the screen,
horizontally, and for the up and down keys to move the visible document relative
to it. Viewing files this way can be very advantageous. Not the only way of
viewing, but that you could toggle, preferably.

Thanks for your time, and I am really enjoying this program.

For pt #2 I believe that column editing will fit your needs. Hold down
alt+shift
to select a column and you can edit at will. TextFX also provides some amazing
column editing features.
