Estimados Colegas, Les recuerdo que en la Asamblea de Socios del MECOM-2005 (BA) habíamos hablado de poner los proceedings de los congresos en la pág web del AMCA. El proyecto ya está en marcha y hemos cargado el volumen XXIV (MECOM-2005, BA). Apunten sus navegadores a

Pero además es equivalente a cualquier sistema para manejo de edición de journals que anda dando vuelta (por lo menos que yo conozca). Puede seguir todo el proceso de referato, con editores, reviewers, autores, manda los mails necesarios, puede haber varias `rondas' de referato, etc... El paquete es desarrollado y mantenido por la gente del Public Knowledge Project (PKP) de Univ. de British Columbia. Hay mucha actividad. * Pero sobre todo lo importante es que "exporta los metadatos" (título, autores, abstract,...) según el protocolo OAI (Open Archive Initiative). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Archive_Initiative http://www.openarchives.org/ Esto permite que varios buscadores de papers (a.k.a. `harvesters') puedan `bajar' los datos de los papers que se cargan, indexarlos, etc... Es una especie de numerito o clave que identifica a un objecto digital en la web.
