[Bheena
Bhatt|https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=beena.bhatt]
- I was compiling and running with JDK/JRE 8.

Since you don't use Guava directly, can you add a later version of Guava
(24.1.1+) to your dependencies? That would eliminate the vulnerability, and
then you wouldn't need to know whether JClouds is vulnerable.

I should say again that I have not been able to move past JClouds 2.1.0.

Thanks [~nacx] the issue with using guava 21.0 is that our security scanners
are picking up
([CVE-2018-10237|https://github.com/google/guava/wiki/CVE-2018-10237])
vulnerability. We dont use guava directly just through jcloud. Could you or
someone help confirm that the vulnerability does not affect jcloud?

FWIW, here is the matrix of supported jdk, guava and guice versions:
https://builds.apache.org/view/J/view/jclouds/job/jclouds-compat/

Contributions to upgrade the versions of those dependencies so we can use newer
JDKs to build jclouds would be very very much appreciated! :)
