And that couchdb log would scroll until the service was stopped. We used the following to trigger the error: curl -vX PUT -H “Content-Type: application/json” http://127.0.0.1:5984/our-database/_design/dom -d ‘{ “_id”: “_design/dom”, “views”: { “dom”: { “map”: “function (doc) { // our function code }” } }, “language”: “javascript” }’ PUTs of non-design-docs worked, POSTs and GETs worked, it was just PUT of /_design/ddoc that was a problem.
