Kishore Kasi Udayashankar created LOG4J2-2267:
-------------------------------------------------

Summary: Upon shutdown async logger fails to drain the log lines
                 Key: LOG4J2-2267
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-2267
             Project: Log4j 2
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Appenders
    Affects Versions: 2.10.0
            Reporter: Kishore Kasi Udayashankar

I am using async logger configuration with {{log4j2.contextSelector}} set to
{{org.apache.logging.log4j.core.async.AsyncLoggerContextSelector }}with a
console appender. The application is run using exec. Application will spit out
log lines and terminates gracefully. After upgrading to new release of log4j2
v2.10 (from 2.6) not all log lines are visible on the console. Looks like log
lines are not flushed on application shutdown.
