[~IzidorM] it would be good to check what happens over HCI, i.e. whether host 
can supply data fast enough or if there is something from controller that 
prevents host from sending new data.

The easiest way would be probably to use btmon for this, here's short guide how 
to set it up: [https://www.codecoup.pl/blog/support-for-btmon-in-mynewt/]

You can either just copy log from console or write complete trace in btsnoop 
format to file using '-w' switch to btmon.
