Not build threads option?

2011-04-01 Thread mu...@nawaz.org

Is there a way in the notmuch emacs client not to build the threads for
each query? It can be a bit time consuming. Sometimes (often, actually),
I just want to read all mails from someone, and am not interested in the
whole threads.

If the above can be implemented, it would then be nice to have a
keybinding that would build the thread, but only for the message being
viewed.

I don't know if I'm explaining this well, but does this sound
reasonable?

Filtering out replies to a patch series

2011-04-01 Thread Amit Kucheria
Hi,

I am wondering how developers on this list handle the case of grabbing
a patch series posted to the list and using something like git-am to
apply it to their local trees.

Several patches in the series could have replies to them and hence
they need to be filtered out.

e.g. I use notmuch show --output=mbox thread:eb4e to get
the basic series. But I'd appreciate any tips on filtering out the
replies.

Cheers,
Amit

Just an OT message to inform you that my notmuch/emacs couple no longer
crashes here. I did not find out why it crashed before though.
