I wasn't too sure about the whole "k r" thing, but playing with it, I find the UI reasonable. I propose polishing up the documentation and including the first patch in 0.23 (whose freeze I will get around to announcing any day now). The second patch does exactly impliment my feature request, so thanks for that.
