Following these steps I always see an audio function (01:00.1):
1. Power off laptop
2. Insert miniDP cable (HDMI probably works as well, did not test)
3. Power on laptop
4. Check lspci -s1:

I've got the same issue with 4.4 (kernel) not with 4.1.15 when screensaver fire
up.

Hi Ben,
with your 4.10 tree on my NVAC nouveau can't find the EDID with a
passive miniDP to DVI adapter. It used to work before.
miniDVI to VGA works.
