Hi Jane,
I am currently in the process of changing over my mail accounts. Can
you please use my CESA 11 e-mail address and discontinue using my
Shell Lake e-mail, as I will have difficulty accessing that address
on a consistent basis. See you next week!
Thanks,
Mary Kampa

We were able to offer grants to districts using Dept of Ed money

Subject: Re: [NPSO]: RE: Question from state re incentives
The state is asking if others provide incentives directly to
students. As others respond, it would be helpful to know about
incentives at any level: directly to students, families, teachers,
or districts. Thanks all! This is a great way to learn what others
are doing! Jane

Is the individual talking about the school personnel or the
individuals (students) who we are tying to get the information
from? I am assuming that we are talking about students and some
of our districts have used creative ways to gather the
information, but I am not aware of offering any cash incentives
to individual students. We also do not feel that in a large
state that many districts will support this. Thanks.

Subject: [NPSO]: Question from state re incentives
A fellow state is asking a question:
We are wanting to start offering incentives to participants who
take part in our Indicator 14 survey. Can you tell me what some
other states are offering? We were thinking $5 Sonic cards or
Visa gift cards. Any ideas you have seen to be successful? Any
help would be appreciated!
If you have experiences related to this, please reply all and
share your ideas! Thanks! Jane
