Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce we have been refunded to continue our
work as the National Post-School Outcomes Center at the University of
Oregon for another 5 years!

Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration in this important
work. We look forward to enhancing our technical assistance activities
and products to support your efforts in collecting the employment and
educational status of students with disabilities one year out of high
school and using that information to guide programmatic improvement. Our
new activities will include working with SEAs to include Indicator 14
data in their state longitudinal databases.

Attached is our abstract for our next five years. We welcome our newest
team member, Jim Leinen, who will share his time with the WRRC. We will
also hire a new technical assistance/knowledge development specialist
to our team. Stay tuned for further details!

Very sincerely yours,

Charlotte Alverson, Jane Falls, Jim Leinen, and Deanne Unruh

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Beginning today and continuing through the end of the month, the Office of
Disability Employment Policy will offer a wealth of information about the
NDEAM activities of President Barack Obama's administration, and in
particular, ODEP's activities. Additionally, we will post items of general
interest to the community.

The first installment is now available http://www.dol.gov/odep/index.htm
