will error out occasionally but that is attributed to the machine being
stressed for some reason other than the library written code).

Review: Approve merge test
Conducted a test merge into a fresh copy of the alpha branch. There were no
issues or warnings and the merge completed with no conflicts. I then built the
common libraries and verified the unit test process completed as expected.
Merge test is complete with no issues
We'll leave this for review until Monday, Sept 19th. If no blocking problem
have been reported by the end of the team meeting on that day, we'll merge this
to alpha and proceed with development of simulation engine and the database
broker.
