Can anyone give me an idea of what packet traffic will look in a mesh
topology?
I need a template to work with...
Pls attached to this mail is a diagram of what I'm working with to give you
an idea..
Thanks

Can someone pls help me?
Attached to this message is a figure of the model I'm using for a project...
I'm connecting 4 WAN models via an edge network to a core network...
Now I want to employ dynamic routing (incase of link failure) for
connectivity between the edge network and the core network
network (in your case the core network). They are also
responsible for accepting traffic from outside networks (again, your core
network).
I think that multicast should work fine at the core.

Can someone pls give me a script showing voice codec implementation in NS2?
I'm working with G.711, but any available one based on the H.323 standard
will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Pls I need to know what it takes to simulate gigabit ethernet...
I'm sorry cos I know I've asked this question to ns users twice already
today, but I have a report to submit tomorrow and I need to know even a
little about simulating Gigabit Ethernet in NS-2
I'm working on VoIP core networks
can someone pls help me?
how can I make a node drop malicious packets in a VoIP network?
what mechanism can i use to identify a malicious packet?
Thanks
For QoS routing, to determine the shortest path each link is assigned a
weight and the shortest path
is the one with the smallest aggregate weight.
My questions is, how can I assign a weight value to a link?
I want to use G.711 codec to simulate a VoIP traffic using an exponential
distribution process based on a stochastic model...
Can someone pls tell me what properties my packets will have based on the
G.711 codec standard...
Does anyone have a tcl script depicting G.711
Thanks

I was wondering how to depict a WAN in NS-2 and what topology I can use...
I'm particular about routing in such a network in the event that a link goes
down..
Can someone pls give me an idea so I know what my tcl script will look
like...
Thanks.

Brenda

me to connect 4 WAN models to a VoIP core netowrk (which consists of

Hi there..Please I need your helpI installed ns perfectly and following
all PATH instructions well and validated perfectlyhowever when I try to

Hi everyone.Pls I'm researching on an efficient VoIP model for NS2. I want

Hi there.I wanna work on a project relating to VOIP networks.I wanna

bandwidth consumption
packet loss

I wanna model an ATM network for VOIP based on the evaluation of parameters
which affect QoS against SIP H.323
bandwidth consumption
packet loss
packet delay(latency)
jitter
traffic thoroughput...
Can someone pls tell me what ATM service class will be relevant to model?
Could someone pls help me, I wanna create a simulated model of a VOIP
network,I wanna carry out a performance evaluation of ATM vs SIP and
H.323in VOIP networks using NS
2.To this effect I wanna design a VOIP network using ATM backbone so I wanna
know if I can use NS to design the ATM protocol
