No EnergyModel/Battery : Means that you are using an executable 'ns' with
no mannasim.
I.e. you are using the wrong 'ns'.
Or : If you have only one file by name 'ns' : No mannasim was compiled into
'ns'.

I made three builds on the 64bits Ubuntu 12.10, and two on the 32bits.
Using some different ways of building. I wasn't able to reproduce your
errors ..
when i run tcl files given on mannasim site one of them is
mannasim-rede-hierarquica.tcl
then it gives error
