[ns] ns 2.27 validation error

I am new to ns. I have to run ns 2.27 because I have inherited some old code that will work on this version only. I am using FreeBSD and gcc 3.4.4. (I have installed the gcc patch). I have managed to build ns but when I do a ./validate-full, some of the tests fail. The error message
