Rene,
I believe that the problem is at the .bashrc u wrote, i ll type what it should
be taking in consideration that from my Linux background, i don't find the
export command is important so it is ur choice to take it or export these
values.

Subject: [ns] Problem installation of ns2.29 under Linux
Dear All
Im trying to install ns2.29 under Fedora Linux 7. When trying to run a
simulation a got the following mistake:
nam: no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable.
My environment variable file ./bashrc look like this:
*exportPATH=$PATH:/home/ns-allinone-2.29/bin:/home/ns-allinone-2.29
/tcl8.4.11/unix:/home/ns-allinone-2.29 /tk8.4.11/unix
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/ns-allinone-2.29/otcl-1.11
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/ns-allinone-2.29/lib
export TCL_LIBRARY=/home/ns-allinone-2.29/tcl8.4.11/library*
* *
And i added the line *export DISPLAY=:0.0 *at the end the end but the result
is the same
Can somebody please tell me what i should do to overcome this difficulty?
Thanks in advance
Regards
