[ns] Modified DSDV for Multiple Interface Support in NS-2
Hello, The document named Adding multiple interface support in NS-2 prepared by Ramon Aguero Calvo and Jesus Perez Campo helps to incorporate multiple channel support to the core of the ns-2 simulator. There are few modifications required in the routing protocols such as DSDV, AODV and DSR to use multiple interface support in ns-2. Ramon Aguero Calvo and Jesus Perez Campo have modified the AODV protocol for which code is available in the document they have provided. Based on the guidelines provided in Chapter 5 of the document we have successfully made modifications in DSDV routing protocol. The patch for the same is available on the link given below: http://mohittahiliani.blogspot.com/ Hope it helps. Regards,Mohit P. Tahiliani P.S.: The modifications are still under review and if you find any bugs/mistakes please report to us.
[ns] MAODV ODMRP patch required (Urgent)

[ns] Packet error
hi in my master project my objet is to study the impact of the packet error in routing protocol (AODV).So the object is to fixe a value of a packet error in my script TCl and to change this value and study the performance of the protocole. When i m doing some researchs i have found this : TCL Environment variables - Phy/WirelessPhy set ambient_noise_ *double* - Sets the background noise used for all SNR calculations - Phy/WirelessPhy set Pt_ *double* - Sets the transmission power of wireless nodes - Node/MobileNode set error_ *double* - Sets a fixed chance of packet error for all nodes in the system. Irrespective of SNR calculations - Phy/WirelessPhy set CPThresh_ *double* - This value has become the minimum ratio of Rx powers needed in order to capture the channel. TCL Commands $*mobilenode* change-error *double* * * So i notice that with these TCL variables and commands i can obtain my object So please can you help me for fixing the different values. i m so gratefull for your help Best regards.

[ns] Does NS2 have support for Multi-Core Processors?
Hi Everyone, I am running a Quad Core (AMD Phenom II X4 965) on Ubuntu 10.04, and I was wondering if NS2 supported multi-core processing. Thanks for the help.
[ns] Is there a clock
What is that stime, rtime, beacon time and backoff timer in the file mac-timers.cc . If you dont mind please explain them . And by clock related to node I imply that if a node is created it has some attributes . Will it has a clock of its own in that attribute. If it is there what is the variable with which it is indicated in ns2 . Please tell me GRS SWAROOP
